Slide Background

Logan University’s “Advancing Education, Transforming Lives” campaign is an investment in the institution’s continuing commitment to experiential learning through the renovation and addition of the newly named Fuhr Science Center and renovation of classrooms and offices in the Logan Administration Building.

Guided by our missions and vision, this endeavor will increase Logan’s capacity for hands-on learning by more than doubling the university’s anatomy lab space, creating new workspaces for hands-on simulated learning, expanding available areas for student collaboration, and updating technique classrooms.

The following timeline has been provided for the full two-year campus construction:

November 7, 2023

Fuhr Science Center

October saw the near completion of many exterior elements of the building,  allowing for coordination of the signage foundation installation, final grading and landscaping work. This work will commence in early November along with the sunshade installation on the south curtain wall.

On the first floor, the Micromart is complete and will open mid-November. On the second floor, the prep area space is complete, along with restroom fixtures, final painting, ceilings and hoists, and lab casework. In the anatomy lab, the soffits were framed, electrical/lighting was roughed-in and inspected, and drywall was installed.

In the collaboration area, the sound absorbing wall panels were installed, and the temporary ceiling tiles were changed out as the humidity levels in the building are in an acceptable range for the wood tiles.

The building on target to hit the end of February 2024 turn-over date.

Administration Building

Work in the Administration Building is progressing and the turn-over of the bookstore space is scheduled for December 15, 2023. The bookstore walls are framed, insulated and drywalled and all rough-in and blocking was installed and inspected.
